iPhone Number One

There is pizza in the war room

Launch of the first iPhone. I did ten years of Strategic Operations work for Apple, Inc., during a period of phenomenal expansion, reporting to VPs. And sometimes the boss.

A black and white photograph of a young Steve Jobs wearing a striped sweater, sitting in an office filled with books and early era Macintosh computers.

Additionally, I worked on the teams that did expansion into Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil, coordinated complex international supply chain programs, fulfillment, and organized logistics for Executives, VIP, and so-called “black” projects.

In parallel with invention and emerging or unproven technologies, for the purpose of studying and shaping the future, global flows (or the movement of objects, people, machines, money, and information) is what I have spend a lot of time on.
