Working Principles

The best way to criticize the bad is by consistently practicing the better. Oppositional energy creates more of the same. [Attention]

You should probably focus on raising the ceiling, not the floor. This can guide how we stand with or against society, and how we stand in service of society. [Criterion]

Being both inside and outside gives you the power to influence, create change, and connect with a larger world. Edge and boundary spaces are vital. [Position]

We can't change our thoughts to live differently. We must engage in experience and action to develop new thinking. [Practice over theory]

A compass is more critical than a map. We operate in layers of systems and worlds which are very complex. Know where you want to go, but be aware of your current situation and resources. [Perspective]

It's easier to work on things you find exciting. Big ideas might be easier to accomplish than small ones for this reason. Enthusiasm is essential to progress. [Energy]

How we categorize things matters. Factions can be helpful or harmful, just like unions or the universal can be supportive or selfish. Detach from hardline categories and seek the largest possible synthesis. Tribalism makes the world less disorienting but it is also a blinder against all kinds of larger ideas. [Perception and synthesis]
