Looking at the future of the planet
Ballroom Marfa, FotoFest International, and the Public Concern Foundation presented the fifth Marfa Dialogues as part of the FotoFest 2016 Biennial. Changing Circumstances: Looking at the Future of the Planet was a three-day symposium considering the scale of climate change from the perspective of artistic practice, policy, theory, and environmental science.
Marfa Dialogues was conceived in 2010 by Ballroom Marfa Artistic Director Fairfax Dorn and Hamilton Fish of the Public Concern Foundation.
Events were presented at The Menil Collection, Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Organization of the project for Ballroom Marfa. 2016
